I joined smallBos at its inception in July 2015 bringing with me over 20 years business experience in various roles from Sales to Management within both the voluntary and private sector. It has been a long term ambition to start and run a successful enterprise having discovered where my skills and passions lie. These are in working with individuals to help them realise their goals. My strength is in listening to a person’s thoughts relating to a business plan or pre-existing business and provide direction and help turn concepts into reality.
I have always enjoyed learning and have completed a Bachelor of Science in Business and Management at the University of Ulster, Jordanstown. This, combined with previous practical business experience has enabled me to provide support to those needing advice in relation to management, decision making and strategy for business.
I came on board as a Director with smallBOS in July 2015, when the company was incorporated. As well as a broad range of skills I bring a ‘can-do’ ethos when clients present with difficult issues and seemingly insurmountable obstacles.
I am continually updating and refining my personal knowledge of small business needs in order to enhance the service that smallBOS offers. I am currently working towards completing my Chartered Institute of Management Accounting professional exams aware of the long-term benefit for both smallBOS and myself in doing so. I have completed my accreditation with Xero as a certified Advisor and have a degree in Business and Accounting.
